Adobe Research Fellowship in STEM Fields 2021

Good news! Adobe Research Fellowship in STEM Fields is currently open. Adobe is delighted to call for submissions to the Adobe Research Fellowship. The Adobe Research Fellowship in STEM Fields identifies exceptional graduate students wherever in the world carrying out outstanding research in areas of computer science significant to Adobe.

Adobe bring together the cleverest, most driven individuals we can find, and we allow them the liberty to cultivate their intellectual interest, while providing them with the necessary resources, backing and liberty to form their ideas into concrete results.

Teamwork with the academic community plays an important role in this process. The research model blends the objective for business influence and the wish to work together with researchers outside of Adobe. The lab sustains collaborations with well over fifty university partners, both scholars and faculty. Each researcher has numerous interns yearly, giving them the chance to construct the next generation of tools to back partakers. Adobe work is published in peer-reviewed seminars and journals, making sure that the impact of our research goes well beyond Adobe and into the research community at large.

As a subsequent natural step in supporting this ongoing relationship Adobe is delighted to invite submissions to the Adobe Research Fellowship. It distinguishes extraordinary graduate scholars anywhere on earth carrying out outstanding research in fields of computer science significant to Adobe.

Closing Date of Application: December 4th, 2020 at 5pm Pacific Time

This period, Adobe will be granting fellowships to graduate scholars working in the expanses of computer graphics, computer vision, human-computer interaction, machine learning, visualization, audio, natural language processing, and programming languages.

Eligibility for Adobe Research Fellowship in STEM Fields

So as to be chosen for the 2021 Adobe Research Fellowship, scholars must meet the following criteria:

  • Should be registered as a full-time graduate student at a university.
  • Continue to be an active, full-time student in a PhD program for the full period of 2022 or forfeit the award.
  • Cannot have a relation working for Adobe Research.

Prerequisites for Selection: Beneficiaries are picked based on their research (creative, impactful, important, and realistic in scope), how their work would add to Adobe, their technical skills (ability to build complex computer programs), and their individual abilities (problem-solving ability, communication, leadership, organizational skills, ability to work in teams).

Process of Selection: A committee of Adobe researchers will be go over all applicants and will choose the recipients at their discretion. Scholars may be summoned for phone interviews for internship opportunities before the Fellowship winner selection.

  • A $10,000 award paid once.
  • Creative Cloud subscription participation for a year.
  • An opportunity to qualify for an opportunity to interview for an internship at Adobe

How to Apply for Adobe Research Fellowship in STEM Fields

Applications must include:

  • A research overview encompassing two pages of text and figures not with citations. Minimum of half a page should highlight how the student’s research could contribute to Adobe.
  • 3 recommendation letters from those accustomed with the students work. A letter should come from the student’s advisor.
  • A CV.
  • A current and previous academic records transcript of both undergraduate and graduate.

A group of Adobe committee researchers will be reviewing all applicants and will select the beneficiaries at their will. Partakers selection is on the grounds of their research (creative, impactful, important, and realistic in scope), how their work would add to Adobe, their technical skills (ability to build complex computer programs), and their individual skills (communication, leadership, problem-solving ability, organizational skills, ability to work in teams). Scholars may be summoned for phone interviews for internship opportunities previous to Fellowship winner selection.
