The Adara Foundation, a non-profit social initiative in Nigeria, centers on enabling women and advancing education in Africa. The Foundation shares Saïd Business School’s pledge to better gender parity in education and supports our aim to foster a global MBA community with representation from all over the world. Novel for 2019, the Adara Foundation, in corporation with Oxford University’s Graduate Scholarship Matched Fund, is offering a complete scholarship to an outstanding female MBA applicant from Africa.

According to the African Development Bank, eradicating gender inequality and enabling women could raise the productive potential of one billion Africans, delivering a enormous boost to the continent’s growth potential.

‘Women will play a progressively serious role in harnessing the challenges, driving the growth of the global economy and significantly, the growth of Africa – they need to be better supported to do so, ‘My hope is that the Oxford – Adara Foundation Scholarships will inspire others to consider taking similar action to support African women who have a vital role to play in the global economy, and particularly within Africa’, said Yvonne Ike.

Deadline: Adara Foundation MBA Scholarships for African Women at University of Oxford will be awarded following Admissions Stage 1. The application deadline for this stage is 11 September 2020.
