Human Resources & Admin Assistant at Redline Logistics


  • The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers by performing the following duties:


  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide counselling on policies and procedures
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective on boarding plans
  • Develop training and development programs
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Organizing and managing schedules and calendars for staff
  • Receiving and processing communication channels, including email, phone, and physical mail
  • Assisting human resources department with payroll and personnel databases
  • Conferring with accounting department to help make payments, process incoming invoices, and verify receipts
  • Ensure functionality of necessary office equipment, and requisitioning new equipment and supplies as needed
  • Creating reports and memos for managers and senior-level officers as needed
  • Offer assistance in organizing events, including ordering materials and requisitioning meeting spaces
  • Attend meetings, record notes and messages for managers and senior-level officers


  • BSc/BA in the Social Sciences, most especially in Human Resources Management will be a plus
  • An Associate’s degree in a related field, such as office administration, may be preferred
  • Proven experience as Human Resources & Admin Assistant position
  • Knowledge of Human Resources functions (Pay & Benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Working knowledge of necessary productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • At least 4 years working experience
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn how to use standard office equipment, such as laminating machines, modern phone systems, and copy machines
  • Prior experience using spreadsheet software, including Excel
  • Proven experience being able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • Notable organizational skills and the ability to provide organization and structure that others can follow
  • Strong communication skills and the willingness to make phone calls, emails, and other communications with clients
  • Comfortable working independently when needed, or as part of a team.
